First and Last name: Micah Meader
Nickname: He was reffered to as ‘Mick’ or ‘Mickey’ as a child, but prefers to stick to formal and be reffered to as Micah, thankyouverymuch.
District: 4
Rebel, Capitol, Neutral, (Please pick one:( Capitol
General Character Appearance: (1-2 short paragraphs on your characters general appearance. Hair color, length, eye color, height etc.) It’s safe to say that Micah was gifted with good looks. His hair is a golden sunshine color and just about reaches his ears, maybe slightly past them. Most of the time it appears straight but sometimes he can be slightly forgetful when it comes to combing it out. As far as height goes, he’s pretty average for his age, if anything he’s a bit on the taller side. Currently he stands at a height of 5’9’’ after hitting a large growthspurt about a year back. His upper body is a bit bulky, adding a bit more onto his body weight but overall he is in shape and hopes to keep it that way.
Playby: (The model you are choosing to represent your character) William Moseley
Age: (6 being the lowest and 21 being the highest) 17
General Character Personality: (No Mary Sue’s. Please include at least two strengths and weaknesses) Micah is a perfectionist, wanting everything to go his way and to be done flawlessly. If something seems out of place, he’ll be the first to let you know. The entire ‘perfectionist’ ordeal doesn’t work out for him so well in the long run, and it’s impossible to simply expand on that without writing an entire book. Long story short, it seems to be the main cause of his anger management issues. If there’s something bothering him – even if it’s simply a misunderstanding – he’ll voice his opinion and it won’t be a walk in the park, that’s for sure. He has low tolerance for people who irk him, so watch out for that. Nor does he have any patience. At all.
Other than that, he’s a great person and it’s not that difficult to see the light in him. He is, for the most part, exceptionally friendly and doesn’t like people feeling left out. He’s willing to put forth the work it takes to establish a good relationship with a person and will give it his best shot to work through his temper if it’s for somebody he thinks is worthy of friendship. Micah is somewhere inbetween an introvert and an extrovert. He’s occasionally shy around new people but doesn’t stop running his mouth when he warms up to someone.
Micah is also usually upbeat and optimistic and is able to crack a joke now and then. If he likes you
Brief Character History: (A few paragraphs on your character’s general history) Micah is son of Victor and Genevieve Meader and older brother to Macey Meader, his seven year old sister who has him wrapped around her finger, even despite the gap in age. The home he grown up in was average, something decent enough to consider home although it was a bit old and worn down. His mother and father were often caught up in work stress and whatnot, so Micah was an independent child until Macey came along and provided some source of entertainment.
His family was basically the only people he interacted with, minus the occasional run-in with a fellow member of his district in the streets. He knew people by name, recognized them by face, but not once did he ever branch out and attempt to make friends. Acquaintances, yes, but no friends. Though he regrets it, being independent has gotten him far in life, somewhat.
So, basically, he was a loner, if you'd like to put it that way.
For a long time, he was always a ‘go with the flow’ type of guy (sometimes he still is), and never really questioned the ways of his district, or why the Capitol seemed a bit...harsh. His values were the ones his parents had passed onto him and never once, even now at age seventeen, has questioned it. Nor does he plan on ever questioning it.
Why you think your character ought to be a Capitol/Rebel/Neutral[/b] Micah came from a strict household, being required to comply by the rules that his parents had sent down, which were obviously in compliance with those of the Capitol. Micah himself isn’t the rebellious type, and I see him sticking with the Capitol for awhile and perhaps being convinced otherwise at some point in his life. He sticks to what he believes and based on what his parents have taught him, he believes siding with the Capitol is best.
Role playing Sample: (Alright, I’m extremely lazy right now so we’ll just go with a Henry post.)
There was nothing more exhilerating to Henry than spending the day with his best friend. Not even Quidditch met up to the high standards his meetings with Alec had set. To recieve word that he was to meet Alec in a certain specified hallway today was good news, Henry assumed. He figured it was nothing more than for their usual fun and exciting antics and perhaps a recap of the holidays along with exchanging gifts. That is, if Alec had even considered the idea of purchasing something for him.
So, gift in hand, Henry had set off in pursuit of the designated meeting place. Even if he was a second year, the castle was still like a labyrinth to him and sometimes he was convinced he was in desperate need of a map. Leaving early for classes and scheduled events was always ideal as the staircases seemed to be a bit...unpredictable. Plus, he always seemed to run into some sort of familiar face, friend or foe.
Though he would never admit it to anybody but himself, he valued Alec greatly. As a friend, yes, but also as somebody who saw him for who he was and didn't act as snarky or ignorant as the rest of his family. Or, in his sister's case, a stick in the mud. The topic of his break was one prefferably avoided due to certain feelings towards said girl he stayed with along with the astonishing way his own parents behaved, like he was nothing more than a pet dog. If only he could've invited Alec to spend Christmas with him. Or better yet, if only Alec had convinced his parents to let Henry stay with them. Anything to get away from his insanely rude family.
It didn't take long for Henry to spot his friend - and exactly where they had chosen to meet as well - and it took everything it had in him to not tackle his friend with a hug or anything of the cheesy sort. It had been ages since they last met - since the Quidditch practice, right? Like he could remember. Either way, his excitement was inevitable and he was glad to be back in the swing of things.
"Aleccc!~" Henry sang out, "How are you? How was your break? Is it just me or is it a bit chilly? I should've brought my scarf, but it totally slipped my mind. ...Hopefully it's still in my dorm. I'd hate to lose a scarf for the...what is it, now...third time?" Honestly, one could never tell that his break had been nothing but torture. He had the energy of a little kid and the attention span of a rock. And, to think, his life was about to get a million times better in the upcoming moments.
Your Name: Da one and only SOPHIE. Or Soh-pie. My friend once made a typo and wrote Sohpie instead, which I’m totally content with. It makes me think of pie.
